A fast growing online retailer was looking to sustain further growth and professionalize its eCommerce operation. Deloitte was engaged to assess the scalabilty of the retail operations to support the aggressive growth strategy. Key bottlenecks as well as improvement initiatives were defined to support the 20% YoY growth.
Through data analysis and additional interviews we conducted a study on potential bottlenecks for growth. We assessed inbound logistics, inventory management, warehouse operations and supplier contracts. We recommend measures to assure future capabilities to maintain the agressive growth strategy.
Key bottlenecks as well as improvement initiatives were defined. The online retailer has taken the recommendations into action, and thus is now better equipped to support 20% YoY growth.
