The Holland Financial Centre set up the Trading Venue Fast Track: a structured approach to facilitate 12 participating organizations in defining innovation projects. The goal was to strengthen the trading position of the Netherlands with projects that could be realized within a year. Two brainstorm sessions of 60 participants in mixed teams produced over 500 ideas, resulting in 59 detailed ideas posted on an innovation portal. Finally 9 business models have been pitched, and they were all realized in 2010.
